While visually the program actually hasn't changed much (it's... but I prefer to clean them up.  Same goes for my registry.  The same goes for scanning for and removing duplicate files, uninstalling programs no longer needed and so on. However, there are programs that leave behind registry entries when uninstalled. Just a few clicks and it'll fix problems and speed up your computer with no risk -- that's just not true.
